How much does it cost?

Our basic listing is free. We also offer Soloist, Principle, and Prima listings with additional marketing and advertising benefits for your studio.

Is there a trial period?

Yes, we provide a 30-day trial period for our paid levels. You won't be charged anything if you decide to cancel the service before the trial ends.

 
How does the 30-day free trial work?

If you cancel a paid plan within 30 days of signing up, you won’t be charged a thing. If you do choose to cancel your account in the future, you will not be charged again, but we don’t prorate for partial months.

 
Do I get a 30-day free trial if I upgrade?

You are eligible for one 30-day free trial. The 30-day free trial on paid plans applies whether you sign up for a paid plan now or register for a free account first. You can always downgrade later if you choose.

Can I change plans any time?  

Absolutely. Just click on the "Change Plan" tab in your account, and you'll see your options.

 
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Our studio listings are a pay-as-you-go service. There are no long-term contracts or commitments on your part. You simply pay month-to-month through Authorize.net or PayPal. If you cancel, you will not be billed again. Your service will remain at your paid level through the end of your billing month and then your listing will revert to the free level.

 
Are there signup fees? Termination fees? Any hidden fees we should know about?

The pricing is simple and straightforward. There are no signup or termination fees.

There is no long-term contract. You pay as you go and you can cancel your account any time. Please note that we don't provide partial refunds if you decide to cancel your paid plan before one month has passed. You pay for the entire month.

 
What types of payment do you accept?

You can make your credit/debit card payments through either Authorize.net or PayPal. At this time we only accept payments online, so we will not be able to accept a P.O., invoice you, or take an order over the phone.

What is the difference between a free and a paid plan?

Is this a long-term commitment?

No. You can cancel anytime. There are no termination fees whatsoever.

 
What's required to register?

All we need is your name, a password and user name of your choice, and your email address. You will claim your studio (or create a listing if one does not already exist) once you have registered. If you choose a paid plan, signing up for an Authorize.net or PayPal subscription is also required.

How soon can I add or edit my studio listing?

As soon as your email address is verified. It only takes a few minutes for the whole process.

Why should I join and use Dance Class Directory?

The directory contains over 17,000 dance schools in North America and receives lots of traffic from people looking for a dance studio. By adding your listing and making sure it's up to date, you make sure that your studio is in front of those people, making it more likely they'll discover it as the perfect fit for themselves or their children.

When you register, which is free, you automatically get a map link to your studio and the ability to list the dance styles that your studio offers. You'll also have the opportunity to highlight your studio for a very reasonable fee. For example, with a higher level listing, you can include links to your Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media accounts, as well as add your studio logo and a studio description.

Once you're logged into your account, you'll have access to the help system with video tutorials and frequently asked questions. And of course, you can always email your questions to us... we are glad to help.
